This tour will start and end in Nairobi. You will be picked up from the hotel. The tour will be covering Lake Nakuru & the famous Maasai Mara, home to the Wildebeest Migration, the 7th Wonder of the World. It is home to Kenya’s Big 5: The Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, and Buffalo. You will be able to enjoy a first class game viewing experience here in the Masai Mara National Reserve & also in Lake Nakuru National park.

Day 1: Arrival Nairobi-Masai Mara

You will be picked up early in the morning at the airport or from the hotel at 8:00 am for tour briefing, and thereafter drive via Narok town to Masai Mara National Reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Masai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, will spark your curiosity. The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Arrival in Mara at around 1:30 pm, check in, have lunch, and take a short break. Afternoon game drive around 3:00 pm to scale the Mara beauty. Exit the park before dusk for dinner & overnight at the camp.

DAY 2: Masai Mara Full Day

A full day in the magnificent Masai Mara Game Reserve which is regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. A picnic lunch box will be given by the lodge for lunch on the Mara Plains. Return to the lodge/camp before dusk.

Optional Activities:
1. Balloon safari in the early morning, followed by a champagne breakfast on the Mara Plains. Take to the skies for the ultimate Maasai Mara wildlife adventure, soaring in a hot air balloon over herds of game to the inner reaches of the Mara. You’ll ascend in the early morning, when winds are calmest. Your balloon can soar over the most inaccessible and undisturbed parts of the Mara, with only the intermittent whisper of the balloon’s gas burners punctuating the silence of your majestic flight. DAY 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Head out for your last morning game drive before 6:30, return to the hotel before 8:00 am for breakfast. Check out, then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive will take approximately 6 hours. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch. After lunch, head out for an Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Nakuru’s Southern white rhinos are a must see in the park, as they are often located around the lake grazing grass. Lions and Leopards are also animals that we must search for within the park. Return to the hotel before dusk for dinner & overnight.

DAY 4: Nakuru to Nairobi: Approximate drive time 3hrs

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Nairobi. You will be dropped at the airport or at you hotel.
