The tour will be covering Lake Nakuru, Amboseli & the famous Maasai Mara, home to the Wildebeest Migration, the 7th Wonder of the World. It is home to Kenya’s Big 5: The Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, and Buffalo. You will be able to enjoy a first class game viewing experience here in the Masai Mara National Reserve & also in Lake Nakuru National park.

Day 1;Nairobi/Masai Mara
You will be picked from your hotel/residential in the morning and drive South of Nairobi and into the Great Rift valley with a stopover at the escarpment to admire the scenery. Proceed to renowned Maasai Mara, Kenya’s premier game reserve. The Mara is actually the northern portion of the great plain’s ecosystem in neighboring Tanzania called the Serengeti. It is the home of the “big five” – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant, as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe and vast herds of plains antelope and numerous other wildlife. Your accommodation for the next two nights will be in one of the Mara’s luxury tented lodges, allowing you to experience your nights “in the bush ” with all of the comforts of home. The Mara Sarova Tented Lodge is situated on a natural elevation between two streams and is set amidst gardens full of exotic flowers. Each luxury canvas tent has a permanent roof and floor and an attached en-suite bathroom including a flush toilet, sink and hot showers. Meals are served in the spectacular thatched roof dining room. After lunch and some time to relax and perhaps take a dip in the pool, you will depart for an afternoon game drive in search of the big five. The low afternoon light is perfect for photographing the beautiful rolling plains of the Maasai Mara. In the early evening as you make your way back to camp, you may get lucky and spot a leopard on the prowl. As the sun starts to set you’ll return to your camp for dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Lodge.
Day 2;Masai Mara
An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or takes an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive or after breakfast proceed for a fullday game drive with picnic lunch boxes. Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Mara Camp.
Day 3;Masai Mara/Nakuru
After an early breakfast drive into the Great Rift Valley to the Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Its location affords panoramic views of the lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park. A short two-hour drive from Nairobi, Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is a favorite with residents and visitors to Kenya. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is cleverly laid out in such a way that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views of the lake and the park. The Lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways and greens dotted with bird feeds. Enjoy an afternoon game-drive in the park host to flamingoes and the endangered rhinos among other big game species along the lakes shore. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 4;Nakuru/Amboseli
After breakfast you will depart by road to Amboseli National Park. The is mostly arid woodland with a series of swamps and lakes that provide a year round water supply for the wildlife. Amboseli sits in the shadow of Mt Kilimanjaro and is known for it’s large elephant population and other big game that is attracted to the area by underground springs fed from Mt. Kilimanjaro. With a game drive along the way, you’ll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar, sitting in the shadow of Kilimanjaro, is built in the style of a maasai Village and enjoys one of the best game-viewing locations in the Park. From the comfort of the dining terrace you can watch animals come down to the swamp to drink. In the afternoon you’ll depart on an afternoon game drive in search of Amboseli’s famous elephants and with luck Kilimanjaro with be out for some sunset photos. Day 5;Amboseli
Park Awaken at dawn and depart on an early morning game drive while the light is just perfect for photographing the magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for breakfast.After breakfast relax at the lodge and view the nearby game. All meals and Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 6; Nairobi/Amboseli
After breakfast return to Nairobi and proceed with your chosen extension or return home.
